Who this policy covers
This policy applies to IFS Hub’s website, job board, vendor and project directories, community discussions, submission forms and contact process. IFS Hub is an independent publication. It does not control the privacy practices of employers, vendors or external websites linked from a listing.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide and limited technical information needed to operate and understand the site.
- Job submissions: company, role and location details, contact email, application or source links, notes and featured-listing interest.
- Community content: display name, discussion title, post, replies, category and votes.
- Contact and privacy requests: name, email, request type and the details you provide.
- Basic site analytics: aggregate traffic information such as visits and page views provided through the hosting platform.
- Administrative access information used to secure the private dashboard.
How we use information
IFS Hub uses information to operate the site, review and publish submissions, verify job information, moderate discussions, respond to requests, protect the service, understand basic traffic patterns and improve the experience. Information will not be used for a new incompatible purpose without appropriate notice or consent.
- Private job contact emails are used for verification and are not published unless the submitter separately provides an application email.
- Community display names and approved content are visible to site visitors.
- External application links take visitors to an employer or hiring platform whose own terms and privacy practices apply.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by service providers that host, secure and operate IFS Hub. Stripe processes subscription payments and billing information under its own privacy terms; IFS Hub does not receive or store full payment-card details. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to investigate abuse or protect rights and safety, or as part of a lawful business transfer. IFS Hub does not sell personal information.
- Job and community content approved for publication is shared publicly when the site becomes public.
- A job submitter’s private verification email is not included in a public listing.
- Subscription access records may include your name, Stripe payment email, optional receipt reference, verification status and review timing.
- Personal information may be processed outside your province or country and may be subject to the laws of that location.
Retention and safeguards
IFS Hub keeps personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described, legitimate recordkeeping, dispute prevention and legal requirements. Reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may ask whether IFS Hub holds personal information about you and request access, correction or deletion. IFS Hub may need to verify your identity and may retain information when permitted or required by law. You may also challenge how your information was handled. Submit a request through the Contact & deletion requests page or email admin@theifshub.com.
Children
IFS Hub is a professional ecosystem publication and is not directed to children. Do not submit personal information if you are not old enough to consent under the laws that apply to you. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, use the request form so it can be reviewed promptly.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as IFS Hub adds features, vendors, advertising or other data uses. The updated date will change, and material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
